A fresh start is always nice and there is nothing like a new year to set new goals with a new mindset. When I look back at 2015 - I had no idea how much hubCity runners would accomplish. Our group completed three 5K's, two 8K's, four 1/2 marathons, one full marathon, one triathlon, and one 48 miles bike race, and a mud run. Our group started in January in 17 degree weather but stayed consistent, encouraged one another,and most of all stayed committed to reaching the goals we set out to accomplish. We are only one month into 2016 and some of us have already ran our first 1/2 and full marathon of the year. I finally PR'd in the Disney Marathon which leaves me with a great feeling of accomplishment. Next on the list for me and the group is some 5K's, and a half marathon by March. Our group will also be more challenged this year by endeavoring into the triathlons and possibly a half iron man in the spring and summer. The best goals I have set for myself is to 1. Sign up for a race, 2. Run three days a week, 3. Eat healthy, 4. Keep accountability with a group or friend. Here's to a great 2016!

Thank you Jill! You are such an inspiration! Because of you, I run. Because of the Hub City Runners, I run. I did races that never I would have thought I would do! I can not wait to see what we will accomplish this year! #WeDoHardThings! Let s have a great year all together!
